Be Up Hire respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We collect information you give us when you request a quote, make a booking, apply for a trade account or contact us: your name, phone number, email address, business details (including ABN), delivery site address and job details. Where a card is provided for payment or security, card details are processed and held securely by our payment provider. For credit account applications we may collect credit-related information with any consent required by law.
Our equipment carries GPS, hour-meter and telematics devices that record machine location and usage. Our website records standard analytics information (pages visited, device type); our web forms collect only the details you enter.
We use your information to respond to enquiries, provide quotes, deliver and manage equipment hire, invoice and collect payment, assess credit accounts, keep our equipment safe and maintained, meet legal and safety obligations, and tell you about our services where you would reasonably expect it. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
We share information only as needed to run the business: with transport and service providers assisting a hire, our IT and software providers, our payment provider, insurers, and — for overdue accounts — credit reporting bodies or collection providers as permitted by law. We do not sell personal information.
Information is stored in secure, access-controlled systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and to destroy or de-identify it when no longer needed.
